Another idea you might want to try is a traffic exchange such as AdGridWork.com.
It's very easy to setup - taking only about 3 minutes. You simply drop the ad on your blog to advertise other sites, and other sites that do the same will be advertising yours.
It is free, and you get an easy to use interface that shows you how many times your ad has come up and how many times it's been clicked. Definitely worth a try as it costs nothing.

Interesting, I'm trying it... so far there's a problem getting targeted ads.

@MoneyEnergy. It looks like you've done everything correctly. Do you want to try changing the subject of your site, to see if it comes up with something a bit more relevant?
I think it's working now, yeah.... for some reason it just took a while to get sync'd.
